Liana Wilson, MSW, LCSW ~ Lead Counselor
Liana Wilson obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Individuals, Groups, and Families from the University of Connecticut. During her undergraduate career, Liana was a program facilitator at Girl Scouts of Connecticut providing community outreach programs to girls ages 5-17 at inner-city schools in the Greater Hartford area, in addition to being selected as Program Specialist, coordinating similar summer programs for Hartford and New Haven area residents. During her graduate career, Liana functioned as a Substance Abuse Counselor, providing processing and psycho-education group therapy at Lebanon Pines 90-day residential treatment facility. Within both positions, Liana has realized her passion for providing programs and therapy to communities in need.
Thoroughly enjoying her role at her second field placement, an Intensive Outpatient Program for children at Community Child Guidance Clinic in Manchester, Liana is glad to be working in the IOP setting again, providing intensive services to adolescents and their families at Pinnacle Behavioral Health.
